Google revealed its new group of Pixel smartphones, which includes a professional phone enhanced with generative artificial intelligence technology, a technology that is now included in most connected goods and services launched this year.

The Pixel 8 Pro phone, which features a powerful chip, can implement some artificial intelligence functions on the device itself, instead of processing data remotely via servers, a process that requires a lot of bandwidth.

During a marketing event this month in ew york, Rick Osterloh, group vice president responsible for devices and services, said that the phone represents a “major achievement,” adding, “The Pixel 8 Pro will be the first smartphone equipped with its own artificial intelligence system for photos.”

This technology will improve the tools already on the phone, such as editing photos, but its goal is to perform other functions.
